Don’t let your bad habits define you.

As many of you guys know I am facilitating the Diabetes Prevention Program over at the YMCA. I am coaching a group of people through lifestyle changes that can hep reduce their risk for developing Type ll Diabetes and I love love love it! It’s been really eye opening for me to see just how challenging behavior change can really be. New mama wellness whole food plant based diet
Last week I binge watched food documentaries on Netflix. It all started because someone in my DPP class asked about alternatives to meat-based proteins and I remembered watching Forks over Knives a while ago and thought I could get some inspiration. This year in themes. Why I don’t make New Years resolutions

New mama wellness, January cleanse, detox

My little one is 18months old and I finally feel like I have a sidekick! She is super interactive, observant and full of life and it is so contagious. We have conversations now. She knows how to make me laugh. She has opinions and makes decisions. It’s really fun. On top of that we are super busy. Alot of my interactions with Mamas consist of swapping advice about our “jobs”. I love hearing about other people’s schedules and routines and in turn love to share mine (especially now that I have it dialed in).
