YES! I am so happy you are here to find out more about essential oils. I started using essential oils when I was pregnant with Everly (my first baby). I love anything wellness related and once I was introduced to the benefits of oils I was HOOKED. What are Essential Oils?
Essential oils are found in plants: in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. This oil or “life force” is what protects the plant and keeps it healthy. Essential oils are extracted from the plant at the height of potency through careful steam distillation, resin tapping, and cold pressing. The purest essential oils are far more powerful than the botanical from which they come.
How do you use them?
Using essential oils is whatever you want it to be! I’m constantly learning new ways to incorporate the healing power of these oils , it’s such a fun journey!!
I use them as non-toxic household cleaners, remedies for cold+flu season, support for sore muscles, adding flavor + spice to cooking, inspiration/motivation during stressful mama moments, support for sleep, supporting healthy immune systems, as a tool to reconnect with Aaron after a long day (massages) and even with our pup Piper to calm her during thunderstorms and car rides!
